Coastal Men's Baseball League


2012 Season Update: 01/09/2012

1) The 2012 season for new players will begin with a workout Sunday February 26th and March 4th at Northwest Park  in Leland at 1pm for Wilmington area players. This will be a workout/draft for new players that are not already on a team. 

The Myrtle Beach area players will have their first workout on February 25th and March 3rd at a site to be determined. Check back for more info on a site in the near future.

2) Medical Insurance will once again be included for every player.

3) Each team will play 3 games at the Cal Ripken facility in Myrtle Beach. (Sunday afternoons)

4) Age divisions: 18-30  31-44  45-Up  31+ can have 3 players 28-29 or 30 and the 45+ can have 3 players 42-43 or 44. These guys may not pitch. No exceptions to these rules.

5) 18 game regular season with a league tournament at seasons end. Then at least 2 teams will be put together for Florida tournaments.

2012 Season To Open Weekend Of April 28th & 29th At BB&T Coastal Field!!

The Coastal Men's Baseball League is excited to announce the opening of the 2012 season will take place April 28th and 29th at BB&T Coastal Field home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Each team in all 3 divisions will open their regular season at this top notch facility located in Myrtle Beach. Plans are beginning to take shape with a planned 18 game regular season schedule. There will then be an end of the season league tournament with the championship game of each division being played at top notch facility (Coastal field, Hardee field etc.) More info on sign ups and pre season work outs/drafts will be announced in the near future.

The Coastal Men's Baseball League is excited to announce their merger with the Myrtle Beach adult mens baseball league. This is a very competetive yet fun and enjoyable League

-Age Specific Divisions (must be within age guidelines)

-Play Regional and National Tournaments if MABL/MSBL sanctioned

 

Coastal Men's Baseball League is based in Wilmington and features player's from ages 18 and up.  It is divided into 3 different age divisions.  The divisions are ages 18-30, 31-44 and 45+. We do not aim to be the biggest but to put high quality and competetive teams on the field for good quality baseball and lots of fun.  

Coastal Men's Baseball is affiliated with Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL) and the Men's Adult Baseball League (MABL).  The MSBL/MABL was founded in 1988 and is a national organization of baseball leagues for players of various skill levels and age divisions.  MSBL/MABL has over 200 affiliates, 3,300 teams and over 45,000 members across the country.  

Members play in well organized local leagues and have the opportunity to compete in a variety of in-state, regional and national tournaments.

No alcohol is permitted at any of the facilities we use - dugouts, stands or parking lots.
